SCP-HAT Hotspot Analysis – update 3.0 (2024)

Hotspot analysis tool for sustainable consumption and production to support science-based national policy frameworks – SCP-HAT 3.0 updated in March 2024

This tool provides two modules to analyse hotspots of unsustainable consumption and production.

Module 1 – Country Profile

This module provides key information on a country’s performance in the context of SCP-related policy areas. For each area, an explanation of the policy context is provided alongside the main indicators and key visualisations.

Module 2 – Hotspot identification

In this section a wide range of SCP indicators are provided to analyse hotspots of unsustainable consumption and production at the country and sector levels, and to identify areas where political action is needed.
