Paris Olympic Games 2024 – Sustainability report

With the last Olympic and Paralympics games having an end nearly two months ago, it’s time to discuss about their environmental impact. This huge event has been frequently labelled as the greenest Olympic event in the history by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and according to the reporting a significant reduction in carbon emissions and other pollutants has been designed and pursued thanks to several strategies: increase the circularity of materials, reduce the carbon emissions from transportation, source only renewable energy and implement the amount of plant-based food for spectators.
