Call for Papers: Agri-food systems transformation for climate action, environmental improvements, with co-benefits for food security and nutrition

Policy discussions in the UN Food Systems Summit 2021 were challenged by the need for scientific data and evidence in support of agri-food systems transformation that will accelerate the pathway towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. This Special Issue aims to collate high-quality papers to contribute to the debate about climate action through agri-food systems approaches, in view of the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC. More specifically, this Special Issue aims to showcase advancements in life cycle assessment methodologies and in cutting-edge research highlighting evidence-based solutions to the climate crisis and environmental impacts with co-benefits for food security and nutrition.
